IT Analyst

It Analyst (Partial Remote)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Analyst with strong technical expertise and solid general banking knowledge. The role involves advanced functional and technical analysis, coordination of application evolutions, interpretation of business requirements, and delivery of technical assets required for implementing changes in the IT systems supporting regulatory reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the feasibility of business requirements for changes within the IT systems
  • Defining the functional and technical solution to meet the formulated business requirements; creating or ensuring the delivery of functional and technical specifications aligned with the agreed business needs
  • Supervising technical activities related to application enhancements, ensuring the delivery of the agreed solution and proper operation of IT systems according to approved business requirements
  • Creating the technical deliverables required for deploying changes related to business parameters within IT systems, in compliance with applicable standards and procedures
  • Providing functional analysis and technical support to operational teams for software defects identified in IT systems during implementation and production phases
  • Defining the test plan for implemented or modified functionalities (including test script and test scenario creation, as well as identifying environment configuration and test data needs); ensuring technical documentation of IT systems and identifying potential risks

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle databases, advanced PL/SQL knowledge — not necessarily at a programming/coding level, but for analysis and debugging of PL/SQL packages, reading triggers, procedures, packages, functions; should have solution design/modeling skills
  • Tech stack used in the project – tools such as Toad for Oracle, Oracle Administration Tool for file, process, and deployment administration, Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Visual Studio, WINSCP
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Warehouse
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT project implementation
  • Able to understand BI/DWH architecture in terms of modeling/design, data integration, and reporting requirements
